I didn't grow up in a maritime family or have connections in the offshore industry. Every opportunity I earned came through persistence, continuous learning, and real experience. Looking back, that journey became the roadmap I now share with others.

My offshore journey didn't begin on one of the world's most advanced vessels. It began on a Platform Supply Vessel, where I learned the fundamentals of Dynamic Positioning, gained real offshore experience, and understood offshore operations from the ground up. Every challenge I faced during those early years became the foundation of the career I have today.
Chapter 03 • Chasing the Dream
Dreams become reality through persistence.
The first drillship.
After years of building experience, I achieved the goal I had been working toward from the very beginning. I joined my first drillship as a Junior Dynamic Positioning Operator, stepping into one of the most demanding environments in the offshore industry. It was the moment I realized that every challenge, every sacrifice, and every lesson had led me here.
Chapter 04 • A Turning Point
Sometimes, your lowest point becomes the beginning of something greater.
One opportunity changed everything.
After losing my job following the devastating earthquake in Türkiye, I truly believed everything I had worked for was over. Just one week later, I received an unexpected opportunity to join a project in Norway as a Dynamic Positioning Operator. That opportunity completely changed the direction of my career. After proving myself during the project, I was selected to join one of the world's largest shipyards, Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. What once felt like the end of my journey became the beginning of something far greater.
Chapter 05 • A Career-Defining Project

I relocated to South Korea to join one of the world's largest offshore newbuild projects at Samsung Heavy Industries. Working alongside an international team, I took part in the delivery of three 7th generation ultra deepwater drillships, contributing to commissioning, sea trials, and preparing each vessel for handover. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career, and a project that shaped me both professionally and personally.

Giving others the roadmap I never had.
After years of building an international offshore career, I decided to share everything I had learned with the next generation of seafarers. Through my books, seminars, social media, and one to one mentoring, my goal is simple: to make the offshore industry more accessible and help others avoid the years of uncertainty I experienced.
